Industrial Training Zone and AED provide Technician Training

The AED Foundation and Industrial Training Zone have teamed up to provide technician training and assessments for equipment distributors online through AED University. Since 1998, Industrial Training Zone has delivered high-quality training designed to improve skills and performance in the subject areas of mechanical, electrical and hydraulics.

Course Features

Environmental Health and Safety and Human Resources Training
The AED Foundation is partnering with AdvanceOnline - Bright Brains to provide equipment distributors with online training for environmental health and safety compliance. Also available are human resource courses that address such issues as AIDs, drugs, sexual harassment and violence in the workplace. More than 35 courses will be available.

AdvanceOnline
Bright Brains courses are available for prices as low as $29.95. For just $104.95 per year, an employee can participate in all OSHA introductory courses, as well as the 8-hour �HAZWOPER� refresher course. $154.95 per year includes the 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Course. The above are all per-student prices.

As an IACET Authorized Provider of training, Advance Online � Bright Brains awards Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to participants. This means that their courses have met nationally recognized standards for quality continuing education and training programs set by The International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Upon successful completion of each AdvanceOnline � Bright Brains course and any associated tests, employees earn a certificate of completion and 0.10 CEUs.

AED University training is facilitated through its Learning Management System (LMS) atwww.aedu.org. The LMS is an integrated, online management tool designed to help supervisors and employees plan, select, coordinate and track their educational experiences.
